New PFAS-free hydrophobic filter media now available

Moisture and humidity can have a significant impact on filter performance. At the same time, many customers are reviewing material choices as PFAS regulation and market expectations continue to evolve.

To support this transition, JP Air Tech now offers a PFAS-free hydrophobic treatment for selected polyester-based filter media.

The new treatment provides hydrophobic functionality without fluorinated chemistry and is designed for applications where moisture resistance is important to filter stability, service life and reliable operation.

Initially, the PFAS-free hydrophobic option is available for 180 and 260 gsm polyester filter media under the product codes:

The treatment can also be combined with other functional properties, including antistatic and flame-retardant solutions, where required.

For filter manufacturers and OEM partners, the new option offers a practical route towards PFAS-free hydrophobic media selection without starting from scratch.
